A few days back, searching for an online magazine, I came across this website advertising a goalkeeper magazine. I immediately got a flashback from when I was a kid, and was the goalkeeper for one of the two teams in my old neighborhood. Oh man, those were the days – get up in the morning, grab something to eat – and out on the streets with dozens of other kids, playing all sorts of games, and specifically football. Football was sort of the main event. And I was a goalkeeper for one of the teams. I remember a game when we ended up having penalty shootouts, and I managed to save 3 penalties thus providing a victory for my team. I was praised for days after that! Ah, those childhood memories….
